Our district is in desperate need of more economic growth. We need a tax code that will encourage growth and attract new business. We need to get the government off the backs of small businesses. We cannot create jobs if the risk of opening a business is too great for entrepreneurs. We need to change the old way of thinking in Little Rock and embrace innovation.
Our state is burdened by over regulation. These overbearing regulations that destroy jobs, keep businesses tied down, and affect everyone from hairdressers to CEOs.
During the last few session, we worked to cut regulations for all Arkansans. But more still needs to be done. We need to continue to focus on making government work, not creating more work for the government bureaucrats.
Our education system is broken. We need to invest in our future by investing in our education system and by encouraging innovation in our schools through technology. We need to help our brightest achieve more and make sure those who struggle get the attention they need. We need to support our teachers and ensure that they are given the tools to best help our children. I was proud to cast my vote for LEARNS Program which gave Teachers a pay raise, empowered parents, stopped CRT from being taught in schools, and invested over 300 million into our K-12 Schools
I'm a lifetime member of the NRA and will work to always protect our 2nd ammendment rights.
I'm also a supporter of Constitutional Carry.
I was proud to sponsor and pass the Stand Your Ground Law here in Arkansas
I'm 100% Pro-Life and believe it is our responsibility to protect the rights of the unborn. It is one of my core values and affects every vote I cast. We are too great of a society not to protect those who have no voice.
